Applebee's at 2440 Ontario Drive, Saint Johns, Michigan.

50% of the time we get in, get seated. And someone comes over right away and brings us your standard Applebee's food stuffs (cardboard box unimaginative, overpriced blahh). But it's close to home, and some of the people that work there are really nice.
But twice in the last month, my wife and I went in and got completely terrible timeliness of service. First time, the guy was super nice about it, and was extremely apologetic...OK, I'm good with that.
But this past Saturday, we went in, the place was 20% full. We were seated in a spot right in the middle of the restaurant where we could be seen...not tucked in a closet, or hiding in a corner...Right in the Middle. We were told our waitress would be right over to get our drink orders. 25 minutes went by, and we stopped one of the other waitresses, that was nonchalantly walking around, and asked if she could get our waitress for our table (hoping she'd just say "oh, i'm sorry, I can take your drink order"...that didn't happen). 10 minutes later, and we were walking out to go get a quick sandwich at another restaurant. One of the guys was hustling all over the place. 4 other people were mildly shuffling around, talking to each other. I think I saw the manager walk in. He seemed to be working pretty hard. But it was hard to tell.
We're never going back. Take the extra time and drive to Lansing....you'll waste it waiting at this one anyway....
